Essential Oils and Pottery

One thing to know about me is that I love the Olefactory and the power of smells.  So naturally, I love essential oils!  I remember, way back in 1995, carefully combing over the Aura Cacia bottles, smelling everything and trying hard to decide which oils I could buy on my small allowance.  I wanted them all, but I had to choose!  I still remember my first picks; patchouli, cedarwood, lemon, cinnamon and lavender.  Not much has changed, I still love these smells today but I have expanded my collection far beyond those first bottles.

So when my friend Caryn, from Essential 3 Aromatherapy Solutions, asked me if I had ever thought of using my earrings as personal diffusers I became giddy with excitement and possibility!  I had just pulled some clay car diffusers out of the kiln and hadn't made the leap that my earrings are EXACTLY THE SAME THING!  Raw clay ready to absorb essential oils.  I quickly ran to my oil drawer and put some vetiver on my earrings...the effect was wonderful!  I could move through my day, inhaling the calming aroma!  Now, the only problem is that I don't want to wear any other earrings!  Maybe it isn't so much a problem...

Thank you Caryn for the suggestion.  It really is a game changer in the world of essential oils and how I can use them.

What are your favorite ways to diffuse essential oils?  Favorite oils?  I am so curious!

And, if you haven’t check out Essential3 Aromatherapy Solutions, please head to their website! They are amazing!!!
